What do you need for your heating or cooling?

What affects the price

Every home is different, so pros quote after they see the project. These are the main things that change the price.

  • The type of system, like a furnace, AC, heat pump or mini-split
  • The size of your home and the system it needs
  • The efficiency rating of the new equipment
  • Repairing or adding ductwork
  • Electrical, gas line or thermostat upgrades
  • Removing and disposing of old equipment

Common questions

Should I repair or replace my heating or AC system?

It depends on the system's age, how often it breaks and how much the repair costs. Older systems that need big repairs are often worth replacing. A pro can price both options.

How long does it take to replace an HVAC system?

Most furnace or AC swaps take about a day. A whole new system, or one that needs new ductwork, can take several days.

Does it cost anything?

No. Matched Pros is free for homeowners. Contractors pay us when we match them with a project, and you never have to hire anyone.
