Matched Pros is free for homeowners. Here is exactly how we get paid, so you can decide how much to trust us.
Contractors and partners pay us
When you send a request, we share it with up to 3 contractors or home improvement networks that serve your area. They pay us for the match: sometimes per request, sometimes when they book an appointment with you, and sometimes a share of a finished job.
What that means for you
- You never pay us, and you never have to hire anyone.
- We only send your request to companies matched to your project, and we list our partners publicly.
- Being paid by contractors does not change the price a contractor quotes you. Compare quotes, and ask each pro what is included.
Our cost guides
Cost figures in our guides come from cited public sources and, over time, our own quote data. Contractors do not pay to change them. See our editorial policy.
